With over 25 years' experience, Rokon Civil is a well‐established and highly respected civil contractor delivering quality land development and infrastructure projects across Victoria. With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, we are expanding our Tenders team and seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join us.

The Role

n

As an Estimator with Rokon, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive and timely tender submissions from first principles across a range of civil construction projects. Working closely with construction and engineering teams, you will analyse drawings, assess risks and opportunities, and contribute to winning strategies.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction, subdivision and infrastructure projects from first principles
n
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documents
n
- Complete quantities, take‐offs and Bills of Quantities
n
- Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
n
- Identify risks, value‐engineering opportunities and scope clarifications
n
- Support the bid submission process and tender presentations




n
- Maintain cost histories and internal databases
n
- Assist with project handovers to delivery teams
n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience as a Civil Estimator (land development/subdivision experience preferred)
n
- Strong technical understanding of earthworks, drainage, roads and utilities
n
- Ability and experience estimating from first principles
n
- Proficiency with estimating software such as Expert Estimation or similar
n
- Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills
n
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
n
- A proactive, solutions‐driven mindset
n
