We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Full‐Time Assistant Centre Director to join our team at Mini Masterminds Sydney Olympic Park (90-place centre).

About The Role

n

As Assistant Centre Director, you will work closely with the Centre Director to support the day‐to‐day operations of the service while maintaining the highest standards of education and care.

n

This is a hands‐on leadership role where you will mentor and support educators, build robust relationships with children and families, and help drive a positive team culture. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre and lead the service in the Centre Director's absence.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Centre Director with the daily operations of the centre
n
- Lead, mentor, and support educators to deliver high-quality education and care
n
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture
n




- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community
n
- Support compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and all relevant legislation
n
- Assist with staffing, rostering, and centre administration
n
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement processes
n
- Lead the centre confidently in the absence of the Centre Director
n

About You

n

n
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
n
- Previous leadership experience within an Early Childhood Education setting
n
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
n
- Current Child Protection training/certificate
n
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), and National Quality Standards (NQS)
n
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
n
- A genuine passion for mentoring educators and delivering high-quality education and care
n
