About the Opportunity:

n

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical upkeep of our production lines and maintaining all machinery to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.

n

Your role will involve proactively identifying and resolving issues, utilising your solid problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair breakdowns swiftly. You will also perform scheduled preventive maintenance daily to minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency.

n

You will also support key Maintenance & Engineering initiatives such as new line setups and continuous improvement programs.

n

The position includes a structured onboarding period, initially on day shift, to help you integrate smoothly into the team. You will join a skilled team of 15 experienced electricians and fitters, working collaboratively to ensure optimal performance across our operations.

n

This role may have you working between our Campbellfield and Tullamarine site to support our team when required.

About You

n

Your ability to flex between BAU, breakdowns, and project work, as well as your problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, will be highly valued, along with:

- C8 Qualification: Certified C8 technician with advanced technical expertise and proven capability in high-spec manufacturing environments.
n
- Welding Expertise:



Proficient in multiple welding techniques with a strong focus on precision, safety, and durability.
n
- Machine Tool Operation: Skilled in the use of machine tools such as lathes and milling machines, maintaining high standards of accuracy and finish.
n
- Computer Literacy: Competent in MEX and similar ERP systems, ensuring efficient maintenance scheduling and data management.
n
- Manufacturing Background: Hands-on experience in high-demand industries like FMCG and pharmaceuticals, balancing productivity with strict quality controls.
n
- Problem Solving: Adept at fault-finding and resolving technical issues swiftly to reduce downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
n
- Results-Driven: Committed to delivering high-quality outcomes on time, with a strong focus on performance metrics and continuous improvement.
n
- Collaborative Communicator: A dependable team player with clear communication skills, fostering positive working relationships across departments.
n
- Additional Qualification (Advantageous): Holder of a Restricted Electrical License (REL), providing added capability for electrical-related maintenance tasks.
