About the role
n Setpoint Air & Mech Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. As a Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. This is a full-time position located in Melbourne CBD and surrounds.

We pay well above the industry standard. We are also open to employing sub-contractors, so please apply if you are a sub-contractor & are interested.

Job Description:

n

Maintenance, service, installations and repair work of commercial refrigeration.

n

Installation of compressors, evaporators, condensing units as well as other vital components found in refrigeration systems.

n

Exposure to Air Conditioning maintenance at times

n

Work on both service jobs and projects.

n

Potential for dual trade for right candidate (Electrical Apprenticeship)

n

Requirements:

n

Permanent working rights in Australia is preferred.

n

a holder of an ARC Refrigerant Handling License.

n

Current Victorian Driver's probationary or full license

n

Construction Induction Card (White Card)

n

Working With Children's Check

n





Ideal applicant will be:

n

Proactive, self-motivated with a professional attitude.

n

Be able to work with a team or independently as required. (we have a solid apprentice base so team work is highly valued)

n

Well organized and tidy.

n

Have strong attention to detail

n

Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

n

What we offer :

n

Full-time position (40hours per week)

n

Direct to double time for overtime hours

n

Company vehicle, including fuel card and Linkt E-Tag or vehicle allowance for right candidate

n

Monthly phone allowance or phone provided

n

Training and support as required. (in-house engineers to assist with)

n

A reasonable amount of overtime is to be expected for extra earnings.

n
