As a prison officer, you play a crucial part in a person's rehabilitation journey and ensure the safety and security of the facility.

Prison officers supervise daily activities, support positive behaviour, and respond to incidents to ensure the safe operation of the prison.
n

What's in it for you

- Earn up to $93,938 with a base salary of $65,373 plus penalty rates and overtime
n
- Annual salary increases, 5 weeks annual leave, 3 weeks personal leave and provisions for study leave
n
- 43 days comprehensive paid training (full time)

- Complete a Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Adult Custodial)
n

New prison officers are now eligible for a bonus of up to $8,000. Six months after commencing, you will receive a payment of $4,000. Then, after one year's full-time employment, you will receive an additional payment of $4,000. Conditions and eligibility criteria apply, see our website for details.
