We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Australian manufacturer seeking an experienced Production Planner to play a key role in coordinating production schedules, materials and workflow.

n

This is more than just a scheduling position. You'll work closely with production, purchasing and operations to ensure customer orders are delivered efficiently while supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

About the Role

n

Reporting into the Operations team, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to maximise efficiency, meet customer deadlines and support day-to-day manufacturing operations.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop and maintain production schedules
n
- Coordinate workflow across manufacturing operations
n
- Monitor production capacity and resource availability
n
- Liaise with purchasing to ensure materials are available when required
n
- Work closely with production supervisors to achieve on-time delivery
n




- Monitor work orders and adjust schedules as priorities change
n
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
n
- Maintain accurate production planning data and reporting
n

About You

n

You'll be an organised and forward-thinking planner who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

n

You'll ideally bring:

n

n
- Experience in Production Planning, Production Scheduling or Manufacturing Coordination
n
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
n
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
n
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems
n
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
n
- The ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
n
