About the Opportunity

n

Due to continued growth within our Grounds Services Division, Programmed Property Services is seeking an experienced Turf Curator to join our team based in Melbourne.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated turf professional to work across a range of sporting facilities, delivering high-quality turf renovation and maintenance services. You will play a key role in ensuring playing surfaces are presented to the highest standards while contributing to a strong safety-first culture.

n

This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for overtime and seasonal project work.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform sports turf renovation and maintenance activities across a variety of sporting grounds
n
- Operate specialised turf renovation and maintenance equipment
n
- Undertake aeration, scarifying, topdressing, overseeding and turf establishment works
n
- Monitor turf health and contribute to seasonal turf management programs
n
- Maintain irrigation systems and assist with surface preparation works
n
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company and client requirements
n
- Maintain a high standard of presentation across all project sites
n
- Build positive working relationships with clients and team members
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for turf management, strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.

n

You will also possess:

n

n
- Previous experience in sports turf renovation and maintenance
n
- Demonstrated experience operating sports field renovation equipment
n
- A strong understanding of turf management practices and techniques
n
- Sound knowledge of Workplace Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
n
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
n
- Flexibility to work varied hours during seasonal peak periods
n
- Ability to travel and stay away from home on a rotational basis when required
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
- Current Driver's Licence (essential)
n
- MR or HR Truck Licence (highly regarded)
n
- Certificate III or higher in Turf Management (desirable)
n
