Wett Solutions is seeking a skilled Light Sheet Metal / TIG Welder – Stainless Steel to join our team on a full-time basis in Alexandria, NSW. This is a hands‐on technical role that plays a vital part in our manufacturing operations, where precision, quality and attention to detail are paramount. You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components using TIG welding techniques on stainless steel materials, contributing directly to the delivery of our products to clients across various industries.

What you'll be doing
n

- Performing TIG welding on light sheet metal components, primarily working with stainless steel materials
n
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and welding of components
n
- Preparing materials and workpieces for welding, including cleaning, fitting and positioning
n
- Operating and maintaining TIG welding equipment to ensure consistent weld quality and adherence to industry standards
n
- Inspecting completed welds for defects and ensuring they meet required quality standards and specifications
n
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures
n
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines
n
- Continuously improving welding techniques and product quality through feedback and best practice application
n

What we're looking for
n
n
- Proven experience as a TIG welder, with demonstrated expertise in welding stainless steel materials
n
- Proficiency in light sheet metal work and fabrication processes
n
- The ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications
n
- Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and quality assurance standards
n
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precision work
n
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment
n
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials
n
- Relevant welding qualifications or certifications (such as AQF Level 2 or equivalent) are highly desirable
n
- Experience with various welding positions and techniques is a plus
n
