Workforce Extensions| Scoresby's clients are seeking experienced and reliable Brake Press Operator, Router Machine Operator, Folding Machine & other engineering machine operators and engineering workers to join their manufacturing team. The Brake Press role involves operating CNC press brake machinery to produce high-quality sheet metal components in accordance with engineering drawings and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

n

Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines.

n

Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

n

Select and install tooling required for production jobs.

n

Measure and inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.

n

Perform machine adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

n

Complete production tasks within required timeframes.

n

Maintain a clean and safe work workplace.

n

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

n

Skills & Experience

n





Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery.

n

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

n

Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and tape measures.

n

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

n

Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.

n

Trade qualification in Engineering, Fabrication, or Sheet Metal.

n

Experience with CNC programming and machine setup.

n

Overhead crane experience.

n
