Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you'll assist in pricing projects, preparing tenders, and providing key administrative and project coordination support to ensure the smooth operation of our estimating function.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Review and analysis of construction documents, such as plans and specifications, to understand the scope of work required in pricing of tenders and projects
n
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for a wide range of projects.
n
- Liaising, obtaining, comparing and negotiating pricing from subcontractors and suppliers ensuring competitive pricing.
n
- Maintaining and updating the company's cost database and benchmark information.
n
- Conduct cost analysis,



risk management, and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
n
- Participate in pre- and post-tender meetings as required.
n
- Provide professional and friendly service to internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Provide general estimating support to project team and variation costing for tender to construction amendments
n
- Provide post-project cost analysis and lessons learned to support continuous improvement in future projects

Qualifications & Experience

n

- Tertiary qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar
n
- Relevant experience with minimum five years' local experience
n
- High level computer skills and numeracy including the following programs: CostX, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
n
- Experience in Tender preparation process
