About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a disputes lawyer (PQE 2‐5) to join a busy and dynamic construction disputes practice. This role based in Melbourne focuses on litigation and dispute resolution within the construction and infrastructure industry in Victoria and interstate.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Carriage of disputes matters, including managing case strategy and supporting clients on litigation and arbitration.
n
- Engage with clients, providing legal advice and maintaining strong professional relationships.
n
- Collaborate with senior lawyers, contributing to team discussions and case management.
n
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
n
- Maintain a commercial approach to all matters, ensuring effective and effective resolution.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Minimum 2‐5 years PQE with a construction disputes background.
n
- Strong advocacy skills and ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines.
n
- Superior drafting ability and strong attention to detail.
n




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Resilience and commitment to excellence.
n
- Ability to manage client relationships and support junior members.
n
