About the role

n

The Asset Management team is currently seeking a Superintendent Reliability Engineering, to join them on a 4:3 FIFO Roster based at the Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Manager Asset Management Processing & Port, you will be responsible for leading the reliability engineering function for fixed plant assets. The role ensures the secure, reliable, and cost-effective performance of assets through the delivery of defect elimination, maintenance strategy optimisation, and reliability improvement programs.

Duties

- Lead, coach, and develop the Reliability Engineering team to build technical capability and succession depth
n
- Accountable for the execution of the Defect Elimination process for fixed plant assets, ensuring timely identification, investigation, and resolution of defects.

- Regularly review Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)



and ensure targets are met by identifying and closing gaps
n
- Assist with the review and prioritisation of works based on value and risk profile
n
- Ensure compliance with the Asset Management Engineering Framework, Reliability Engineering Ways of Working, and relevant standards/procedures Optimising maintenance plans and component strategies for fixed plant assets
n
- Foster collaboration between Reliability Engineering, EEG, Maintenance Execution, Planning, Commercial, Supply, and Operations teams.

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or similar technical field or an appropriate trade qualification with a demonstrated combination of training and experience
n
- Proven leadership of engineering teams delivering measurable reliability improvements
n
- Demonstrated success in defect elimination, maintenance strategy optimisation, and condition monitoring program management.
n
- Experience in either Engineering or Maintenance Execution (within the mining industry)
