Food Production Machine Operator

About Country Cuisine

Country Cuisine is a contract manufacturer producing jams, conserves, sauces, condiments and dressings for a range of food brands. We operate a small manufacturing facility in North Geelong and are expanding our production team.

About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Food Production Machine Operator. This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring previous experience operating and adjusting production equipment.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Preparing and weighing ingredients for production batches
n
- Setting up, operating and monitoring food-processing and filling equipment
n
- Making basic machine adjustments during production
n
- Identifying and responding to equipment or product-quality issues
n
- Completing batch records and production checks accurately
n
- Following recipes, specifications and food-safety procedures
n
- Cleaning and sanitising machinery and production areas
n
- Assisting with changeovers and production preparation
n

n

This is not a commercial kitchen, cooking or general labouring position.

n

Essential Experience

n

Applicants must have:

n

n
- At least one year of recent experience in food, beverage,



pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing
n
- Practical experience operating production machinery
n
- Experience following batch sheets, recipes or production specifications
n
- A good understanding of hygiene, cleaning and food-safety requirements
n
- The ability to recognise when machinery or a production process is not operating correctly
n
- Australian working rights
n
- Reliable transport to North Geelong
n

n

A Food Handler Certificate and forklift licence are advantageous but not essential.

n

- Can perform physically active work, including lifting ingredients and equipment
