The Prospect
n
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the growing multidisciplinary team based in Sydney.
n
Working alongside experienced clinicians, you'll deliver person-centred, evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support to individuals with complex support needs across a variety of settings.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Develop high-quality Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS requirements
n
- Deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support interventions
n
- Provide services across clinic, home, community and school environments
n
- Support children, adolescents and adults with complex support needs
n
- Collaborate with families, carers,
support coordinators and other stakeholders
n
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful client outcomes that improve quality of life and community participation
n
n
About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
- Current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration at Proficient level or above
n
- Previous experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
n
- Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support principles and frameworks
n
- Experience conducting behavioural assessments and developing Behaviour Support Plans
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team
n
- A calm, patient and solution-focused approach
n
- Genuine passion for supporting people with disability and their families
n
n
