The Post Office Hotel is a tavern-style hotel located in the heart of Tamworth CBD, Northwestern NSW. We provide lunch and dinner dining options and short-order meals outside dining hours in a busy hospitality environment.

We are currently seeking a qualified Chef to join our kitchen team and work alongside the Head Chef.

n

Full-time position (Minimum 38 Hours per week)

n

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing and cooking a range of meals to a high standard
n
- Assisting with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations
n
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
n
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering
n
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
n

Skills and Experience Required:

n





n
- Relevant trade qualification (AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or equivalent) or minimum 3 years relevant experience may substitute formal qualification.
n
- Minimum 1 year's experience if holding a relevant qualification.
n
- Functional English
n
- Ability to work in a consistently busy kitchen
n
- Robust communication and teamwork skills
n
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures
n
- Ability to display a full range of cooking skills
