Heidelberg Materials Australia is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Mechanical Fitter - Fixed Plant to join our hardworking team at Red Hill Quarry. This hands-on role is key to keeping our fixed plant operations running safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance and long-term site improvement.

What the Role Involves:

n

n
- Maintenance and repair of fixed plant equipment including crushers, bearings conveyors, and screens - training provided on specific equipment as required
n
- Strong emphasis on preventative maintenance and condition monitoring Work closely with contractors during shutdowns and major maintenance events
n
- Perform daily inspections and assist in planning maintenance schedules
n
- Accurately document maintenance activities and report issues as they arise
n
- Contribute to ongoing site improvements through practical input and initiative
n

What We're Looking For:

n

- Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
n
- Experience in quarrying, mining, or similar heavy industry
n
- Proven ability to identify faults and implement safe, effective solutions
n
- A proactive mindset with a focus on safety and continuous improvement
n
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
n
