We're looking for a passionate and customer-focused Interior Designer to join our team and guide clients through one of the most exciting stages of their building journey.

About the Role

n

As our Harmony Gallery Interior Designer, you'll work closely with clients to help them select internal and external finishes, colours and products that suit their lifestyle, budget and design aspirations.

n

This role combines interior design expertise, customer service excellence and meticulous documentation management to ensure selections are accurately captured and smoothly transitioned through estimating, drafting and construction.

n

You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while contributing to the successful delivery of quality homes.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Client Consultations & Design Guidance

n

n
- Conduct Harmony Gallery appointments with new home clients.
n
- Guide customers through colour, fixture, finish and material selections.
n
- Provide expert recommendations on current design trends and product options.
n
- Assist clients in making confident decisions that align with their vision and budget.
n
- Clearly communicate standard inclusions, upgrades and available selections.
n

Documentation & Administration

n

n




- Prepare accurate colour selection schedules and variation documentation.
n
- Record client selections within business systems.
n
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and issued within required timeframes.
n
- Review information thoroughly to minimise errors and rework.
n

n

Product & Supplier Engagement

n

n
- Maintain knowledge of product ranges, specifications and supplier offerings.
n
- Stay informed of industry trends, new products and design innovations.
n
- Liaise with suppliers regarding product availability and technical information.
n
- Coordinate reselection appointments when required.
n

n

Harmony Gallery Management

n

n
- Maintain a professional, welcoming and inspiring showroom environment.
n
- Ensure displays, samples and resources remain current and well presented.
n
- Support continuous improvement of the Harmony Gallery experience.
n

n

Team Collaboration

n

n
- Work closely with our Sales, Estimating, Drafting, Procurement, Customer Service and Construction teams.
n
- Contribute to process improvements and business initiatives.
n
- Help facilitate a seamless transition from selections through to construction.
n

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

Essential Skills & Experience

n

n
- Qualification in Interior Design, Interior Decoration, Building Design or a related field.
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in residential interior design, colour consulting or a similar role.
n




- Experience within the residential construction or building industry.
n
- Strong knowledge of colour coordination, finishes and material selections.
n
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business software systems.
n

Highly Regarded

- Experience working with a residential home builder.
n
- Experience using Framework or similar construction management software.
n
- Understanding of residential construction processes and workflows.
n
- Existing industry supplier relationships.
n

Salary: Competitive remuneration package based on experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
