Your new role
n
n
- Full time Permanent, ongoing based in Wagga Wagga
n
- Annual Salary between $80,006.68 to $85,798.44, plus Superannuation, NFP Salary Packaging, Paid Christmas closure and other generous leave provisions under our Enterprise Agreement.
n
n
The role of this position is to oversee the supervised visits and changeovers of children with their separated parents ensuring the safety of clients and other staff members.
n
Duties
n
Under the supervision of the CCS Coordinator and Post Separation Services Leadership:
n
n
- Facilitate changeover and supervised visiting sessions of clients;
n
- Facilitate play, observe interactions,
and support children and parents
n
- Observe child/parent interactions and record observations in the client's file;
n
- Undertake age-appropriate activities for clients using the centre;
n
- Set up for and clean up after contact service activities;
n
n
What you'll need to succeed
n
n
- A minimum Certificate IV qualification in youth work, early childhood education and care, community services, family support, child and family studies or a related field, and/or demonstrated relevant experience in a child, youth or family support setting.
n
- Excellent observational, communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact sensitively with a diverse range of people.
n
- Sensitivity to the needs of children and have an understanding of child development.
n
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
n
- Sound computer literacy and demonstrated ability in data entry.
n
n
