Senior Accountant/Supervisor - Part Time Opportunity

Part Time Opportunity - 3 or 4 days, or reduced hours over 5 days

My client is a reputable accounting firm with offices in Melbourne (Ivanhoe), Sydney and Queensland. They provide a variety of services across tax, accounting, advisory and investment strategies, and are integrated with a mortgage broking business. The firm works with an array of clients predominantly in the SME and family-group space. Inside the office you'll find a stable, friendly, and welcoming team. The firm prides itself on offering an inclusive and versatile work environment.

They are currently seeking an experienced professional to join their team. This opportunity would suit either a Senior looking to take the next step in their career or an experienced Supervisor/Client Manager. The role has become available following a longstanding staff member transitioning to a part-time arrangement.

The role will report into the Director, and work alongside a team of 6, as well as several outsourced team members who look after the bookkeeping and administrative functions.



You will be managing a portfolio of business and family group clients and acting as their key point of contact with the firm. Experience with Xero, MYOB & BGL will be highly advantageous.

The ideal candidate will possess:

n

Minimum of 5 years' Business Services/Taxation experience

n

Completion (or near completion) of CA/CPA qualifications

n

Experience with clients across a variety of entity-types and industries

n

Strong communication skills and client facing abilities

n

A desire to work with small business & family group clients
