About the role

n

This role is a great next step for someone building their career in advice support. Blending client service, advice implementation and developing paraplanning responsibilities, it offers a clear pathway from Associate Paraplanner to Paraplanner. Working closely with Financial Advisers, you'll assist with client administration, technical research and the preparation of high-quality advice documents.

What you'll be doing

n

Client Service & Advice Implementation

n

n
- Deliver exceptional service to clients through professional and timely communication.
n
- Prepare client meetings and implementation documentation.
n
- Coordinate the implementation of financial advice, including investment, superannuation and insurance recommendations.
n
- Maintain accurate client records within Xplan and associated systems.
n
- Monitor workflow tasks and ensure agreed service standards are achieved.
n
- Liaise with product providers and other stakeholders to progress client matters.
n
- Provide proactive updates to clients throughout the advice process.
n

Advice Support & Paraplanning

n

n
- Assist Financial Advisers in preparing compliant Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs).
n
- Gather and analyse client information required for advice preparation.
n
- Conduct product and strategy research.
n
- Prepare financial modelling and projections.
n
- Assist in developing appropriate recommendations consistent with client objectives and Best Interest Duty obligations.
n




- Review advice documentation for completeness and accuracy before presentation.
n

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

n

n
- Assist with file reviews and quality assurance processes.
n
- Ensure documentation complies with internal procedures and licensee requirements.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and client outcomes.
n
- Contribute positively to team projects and business initiatives.
n

About you

n

We're looking for someone who is organised, analytical and genuinely excited to keep growing in financial advice. You'll take pride in producing accurate work, meeting deadlines and contributing to a positive, collaborative team.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

n

- Previous experience within a Financial Planning practice.
n
- Experience in a Client Service Officer or similar advice support role.
n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
n
- Strong attention to detail.
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
n
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and financial planning software.
n

Desirable

- Experience using Xplan.
n
- Experience preparing or assisting with SOAs and ROAs
n
