The Opportunity

n

We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a Full-Time basis. You'll be an integral part of our pharmacy operations—supporting customers, maintaining stock, and assisting with dispensary processes.

n

This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, keen to learn, and looking to grow their career in community pharmacy. You'll work alongside a supportive team and gain valuable experience, with opportunities for progression into roles such as Dispensary Technician, and access to additional training as it becomes available.

Regular Shifts

n

n
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and healthcare advice
n
- Assist customers with general product and medication enquiries
n
- Conduct over-the-counter sales and product recommendations
n
- Operate point-of-sale systems (FRED POS)
n
- Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels




n
- Support dispensary staff with prescription in/out and order fulfilment
n
- Assist with medication deliveries as required
n
- Follow instructions from the Retail Manager and Pharmacist on duty
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- A valid Australian driver's licence with a good driving record
n
- Prior Community Pharmacy experience
n
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy products and services
n
- Familiarity with FRED POS (highly regarded)
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
- High attention to detail and time management
n
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
n

Bonus qualifications

- S2 & S3 training
n
- Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy (highly regarded)
n
