About the Role
n
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our welcoming team to cover a 12 month maternity leave position starting in term 4 of 2026. Working alongside a dedicated group of early childhood professionals, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of an engaging educational program that supports children's learning and development.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Foster positive and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community.
n
Implement high-quality educational programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
n
Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development.
n
Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
n
Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
n
Collaborate effectively with the educational team to achieve quality outcomes.
n
Contribute to maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Regulations, and service policies and procedures.
n
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved).
n
Demonstrated experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
n
Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
n
Strong organisational and documentation skills.
n
Child Safety Requirements
n

Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety and child protection practices.
n
Understand and comply with the NSW Child Safe Standards and the service's Child Secure Environment Policy.
n
Report concerns regarding child wellbeing in accordance with relevant legislation and service procedures.
n
Participate in child protection training and ongoing professional development.
n
Support a culture where children feel safe, respected, heard, and valued.
n
Mandatory Clearances and Certifications
n
Applicants must hold and maintain:
n
A current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
n
Current Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012), or willingness to obtain.
n
Current Child Protection Training recognised by the NSW Department of Education.
n
