About the Urgent Care Coordinator role
n
If you're an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a meaningful leadership role with a respected not-for-profit community health organisation, while maintaining your clinical skills, this could be the prospect you've been waiting for.
n
Urgent Care offers the ability to work with acute presentations in a structured and supportive setting, manage clinical safety and quality and to develop and supervise a great team of GPs, RNs and reception staff.
n
This is a full-time role in a bustling Northcote location, adjacent to public transport & great coffee.
n
Ideal for: Asenior Urgent Care RN, NUM, ANUM, Clinical Coordinator, Team Leader in Emergency Department.
n
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:

- Lead a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality urgent care service
n
- Maintain a hands-on clinical presence while managing day-to-day clinic operations
n
- Oversee recruitment, rostering, workforce planning and staff development
n
- Drive patient flow, service efficiency, quality and clinical governance outcomes
n
- Build strong relationships with local healthcare providers and stakeholders
n
- Oversee clinical quality, safety and client experience
n
n
The ideal candidate will have:
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with Triage experience
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Emergency, Urgent Care, Primary Care or remote area nursing
n
- Previous leadership, ANUM, Clinical Coordinator or Team Leader experience highly regarded
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Passion for patient-centred care and team development
n
- Able to work autonomously and confidently lead a multidisciplinary team
n
n

- Classification = CN6 - $64.83/hr + on-call allowance + superannuation
n
- Mon-Fri roster & eligibility for monthly accrued day off
