Job Description

- Work in multi-functional office environment where you will need to high-level of accuracy and the capability to meet deadlines
n
- Over time gain experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions including payment of Council suppliers, water billing and rates
n
- Maintain a high-level of accuracy while efficiently handling large volumes of transactions
n
- Provide professional and responsive customer service by addressing enquiries in a timely manner from internal & external stakeholders
n

To be successful in this role you will be a detail orientated finance professional with excellent communication skilland experience working in an office workplace
n
The Finance Officer is responsible for offering operational support as required across the finance team in such areas:
n
n
- Monitoring and maintaining accounts payable
n
- Monitoring and maintaining accounts receivable (including debtors, water billing and rates)
n
- Performing reconciliations of accounts at statement level
n
- Communicate in a timely and reliable manner with internal and external stakeholders
n
n
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
n
n
- Certificate III in Finance or similar - or equivalent experience
n
- Demonstrated high level communication skills
n
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a high-volume transactional environment
n
- Proven ability to provide customer solutions and positively resolve issues
n
- NSW Drivers Licence
n
n

Salary range: Grade 9 -$1,293.00 - 1,399.20 per week plus 12% superannuation for a 35-hour work week.
Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
n
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
n
Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
