As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Operations & Performance Manager to help lead the next phase of our operational and organisational development.

n

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a key leadership position responsible for aligning people, systems and performance to build a more connected, efficient and high-performing business.

n

The Opportunity

This is more than an operations role.

n

You'll work alongside the Managing Director to improve the way the business performs across manufacturing, planning, supply chain, quality, finance support and continuous improvement.

n

You will help build leadership capability, strengthen accountability, improve communication between departments and ensure strategic priorities are translated into measurable operational results.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead operational performance across the Padman Group.
n
- Translate strategic priorities into clear operational plans.
n
- Develop and monitor business KPIs and operational scorecards.
n
- Coach and mentor operational leaders.
n
- Improve productivity, efficiency and operational performance.
n
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
n
- Support inventory optimisation and working capital improvement.
n
- Oversee SAP Business One and operational reporting systems.
n
- Strengthen business systems,



processes and operational disciplines.
n
- Partner with the Senior Accountant to improve commercial performance.
n
- Foster collaboration across Manufacturing, Projects, Engineering, Supply Chain and Administration.
n
- Support the Managing Director in delivering the Company's strategic objectives.
n

About You

n

You are an experienced manufacturing leader who enjoys bringing people together, solving problems and improving the way businesses operate.

n

You will ideally bring:

n

n
- Demonstrated leadership experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial operations.
n
- Robust commercial and business acumen.
n
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
n
- ERP/MRP systems experience (SAP Business One highly regarded).
n
- Experience implementing KPI and performance management systems.
n
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
n
- Strong communication, coaching and leadership capability.
n
- The ability to influence, develop and inspire others.
n

Most importantly, you are a practical leader who enjoys creating clarity, building capability and delivering measurable business outcomes.

- Competitive salary package of $165,000–$180,000 plus Superannuation.
