About the Role

n

You will play an important role in maintaining clean, safe, hygienic and welcoming boarding environments for students, staff and visitors.

n

Depending on the site and roster, duties may include cleaning student accommodation, bathrooms, shared living areas, kitchens, offices and other boarding facilities.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Your duties may include:

n

n
- Cleaning boarding rooms, bathrooms and shared living areas
n
- Making beds and preparing rooms where required




n
- Cleaning kitchens, offices, staff areas and communal spaces
n
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting
n
- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
n
- Emptying bins and managing internal waste collection
n
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and amenities
n
- Replenishing toilet paper, hand towels, soap and other consumables
n
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas
n
- Reporting maintenance, safety or hygiene concerns
n
- Supporting periodic and detailed cleaning activities
n
- Following site-specific cleaning schedules and safety procedures
n
- Maintaining consistently high standards of hygiene and presentation
n

Previous commercial, school,



hotel or accommodation cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Mandatory Requirements

n

Successful applicants will be required to:

n

n
- Be female due to the operational requirements of working within female boarding accommodation and private student areas
n
- Hold or obtain a valid Queensland Working with Children Check, commonly known as a Blue Card
n
- Hold or obtain a National Police Check where required
n
- Complete all applicable school and Educlean induction requirements
n
- Comply with site safety, presentation and conduct standards
n
- Provide evidence of their legal right to work in Australia
n

n

Reliable transport and a current driver licence are preferred.
