Job Description

Reitsma Constructions, a well established commercial building company with offices in
n Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong, is seeking to hire a Project Manager
n to oversee commercial projects based in our Sydney Office.

n

Projects vary between $2m and $30m

n

The candidate will report to the Construction Manager and also the Directors.

n

Our ideal candidate will have had a at least 7-10 years experience working on similar projects in a similar role.

n

Experience managing commercial construction projects with values between $5M and $20M is essential.

n

The role requires:

n

- 1) A passion for the construction industry, and building relationships.
n
- 2) Ability to work within a team. ( And mentor contract administrators )
n
- 3) Robust communication skills, both written and verbal.
n

Outline of job role:

- 1) Design Management
n
- 3) Managing construction program.
n
- 4) Overseeing and managing site staff.
n
- 5) Managing project quality and safety.
n
- 6) Procurement of sub-contract agreements.
n
- 7) Project budget and forecast reports.
n
- 8) Document control.
n
- 9) Preparation and management of letting schedules.
n
- 10) Managing relationships between all stakeholders (Superintendent, client, contractors and suppliers).
n
- 11) Using the following software packages – Estimate one / Google Workspace / MS Project / MS Office
