GDM Health Solutions provides experienced registered nurses to schools across Victoria, supporting student health and wellbeing through casual school nurse placements, staff leave coverage, camps, excursions and special school events.

n

About the Role

n

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our growing casual school nursing team. Shifts are available across a variety of school settings and may include:

n

n
- Student health assessments and first aid
n
- Management of chronic health conditions and medications
n
- Responding to illness and injury presentations
n
- Supporting staff and students during camps, excursions and school events
n
- Working independently within school health centres
n

n

Must be willing to accept shifts at short notice,



hours typically 0800 - 1600hrs weekdays and be available during school term.

n

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division One, General)

n

Current Employee Working with Children Check

n

National Police Check (issued within the last 30 days)

n

Current CPR certificate

n

Current First Aid certificate (HLTAID012 or equivalent)

n

Current Victorian Driver Licence

n

Strong communication and organisational skills

n

Desirable Qualifications

n

Asthma Management certification

n

ASCIA Anaphylaxis Training

n

NDSS Diabetes in Schools (Level 2 or higher)

n
