As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Brisbane on a permanent night shift roster, supporting a large-scale food manufacturing facility.

About the Opportunity

n

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established national contractor while working on-site at a modern FMCG manufacturing facility.

n

You'll become part of a skilled maintenance team responsible for ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently, carrying out preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown response across a fast‐paced production environment.

n

This is a permanent night shift position operating on a 7-day roster. Further details regarding roster patterns and shift times will be provided during the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

n

n




- Perform electrical fault finding and breakdown maintenance on production equipment.
n
- Complete preventative and scheduled maintenance activities.
n
- Diagnose and repair electrical, control and automation system faults.
n
- Work with motors, drives, sensors and industrial automation equipment.
n
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
n
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and site compliance.
n
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence.
n
- Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing or FMCG setting.
n
- Strong fault‐finding and troubleshooting skills.
n
- Experience working with PLC‐controlled equipment (highly regarded).
n
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
n
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
n
