Role Overview:

We are seeking an experiencedCourier Fleet Controller / Allocatorto join our Sydney team. This role is central to our same‐day operations, requiring someone who understands the pace, complexity, and decision‐making involved in managing a courier fleet. If you excel at dispatching, route optimisation, and real‐time problem‐solving, this is an excellent prospect to advance your logistics career.

Responsibilities:

- Courier fleet allocation— Dispatch and coordinate same‐day courier jobs with a strong focus on efficiency and service quality.
n
- Route optimisation— Make fast, informed decisions to maximise fleet productivity and minimise delays.
n
- Driver communication— Provide clear,
timely instructions and support to drivers throughout the day.
n
- Client communication— Maintain professional, solution‐focused communication with customers.
n
- Transport management systems— Use modern TMS platforms to manage job flow, monitor fleet activity, and maintain operational accuracy.
n
- Assist with depot operations as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
n
n
- Courier fleet allocation experience— Previous experience allocating or dispatching courier fleets is highly regarded and strongly preferred.
n
- Minimumone yearof experience in the transport or courier industry (same‐day courier experience is a major advantage).
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and natural problem‐solving ability.
n
- Valid Australian driver's licence and full working rights.
n
- A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to learn quickly.
