Salary: $79,423 per annum plus 12 % superannuation Position Overview Peter & Eva is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our Italian restaurant team.

n

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Italian dishes, maintaining high kitchen standards, and contributing to a fast-paced, high-quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
n
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all menu items
n
- Assist in menu preparation and daily kitchen operations
n
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in compliance with regulations
n
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients
n




- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of food supplies
n
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
n
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
n

Skills and Requirements

n

n
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Cook
n
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
n
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
n
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills
n
- Understanding of food safety standards
n

Qualifications (Preferred)

- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
