About the Opportunity

n

This role is a great prospect to be the welcoming face of the Mildura Arts Centre, helping visitors enjoy a positive and memorable experience. You'll provide friendly, professional service, assist with enquiries, support theatre, café and administrative activities and contribute to the smooth delivery of events and daily operations.

n

We're looking for someone who is approachable, adaptable and passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a vibrant arts environment.

n

What you will bring

n

Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience in Customer Service, Events and/or Hospitality Industry with a strong interest in events / arts.
n
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Ability to liaise confidently with members of the public and members of staff.
n
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the accurate operation of various computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management Software and Electronic Document Management Systems.
n
- Demonstrated appreciation of need for confidentiality and discretion.
n
- Experience in cash handling, bank reconciliation, stock reconciliation, and in the use of computerised receipting systems.
n
- The ability to work across a seven day roster including evenings and weekends
n




- Hold a current satisfactory Police Check and Working With Children's Check or be willing to obtain one.
n
- Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (VIC) certificate or be willing to obtain one.
n

Salary and conditions

n

The position is classified within Band 4 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $46.00 per hour plus statutory superannuation (25% casual loading included).
