What You'll Be Doing
n
This is a hands-on, trade-level role where you'll be trusted to diagnose, repair, and service a wide variety of vehicles. Your key responsibilities will include:
n

- Vehicle Servicing & Repairs: Performing routine maintenance, major mechanical repairs, and complex diagnostics across passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and 4WDs.
n
- Driveline Specialisation: Working extensively with driveshafts, tailshaft balancing, CV joints, and power steering systems (training on our specific specialty work can be provided).
n
- Diagnostic Problem-Solving: Using your technical expertise and workshop diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
n
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring all work meets our high standards of safety, reliability, and workmanship before vehicles are returned to customers.
n
- Mentoring & Support: Providing guidance to workshop assistants and apprentices, helping to foster a collaborative and learning-focused team environment.
n
- Customer Communication: Liaising directly with clients to explain technical issues, provide honest recommendations, and deliver exceptional service.
n

What We're Looking For
n
You are a qualified tradesperson who is reliable, self-motivated, and ready to hit the ground running.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
n
n
- Trade Qualifications: A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) and a current driver's licence (manual essential).
n
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated post-trade experience in an automotive workshop environment.
n
- Strong Diagnostic Skills: The ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
n
- A Team Attitude: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced workshop.
n
- Commitment to Safety: A strong focus on workplace health and safety protocols.
n
