1st -Year Apprentice – Security & Data Technician

Tolai Technical Pty Ltd is a North Brisbane-based company delivering professional security and data solutions across commercial and industrial sectors. We're currently seeking a First-Year Apprentice who's eager to start a hands-on career in the security and data industry.

n

You will be working directly alongside the owner, a fully qualified Security and Data Technician, who will mentor and train you across all relevant fields including:

n

n
- Installation and Commissioning of CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
n
- Data cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Fibre Optic), Security cabling and network setups
n
- Terminating, Testing and Commissioning of Data, Fibre Optic and Security cabling
n
- Fault-finding, diagnostics, and system servicing
n
- Safety procedures, standards, and site readiness
n

n

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

n

n
- Be comfortable working at heights and in ceiling spaces
n




- Hold a Provisional or Open Driver's Licence (Manual preferred)
n
- Have basic experience with hand tools
n
- Show a strong attitude, willing to take ownership and commitment to learning
n
- Be punctual, reliable, and presentable
n
- Be willing to travel to various job sites
n
- Hold a White Card
n
- Be willing to obtain their Security Providers licence
n
