Transfer Assistant Afternoon, Evening and Night Shifts

A mature person looking for a change of employment.

n

The successful applicant will need to be, compassionate, caring and able to work in a small team environment. A current Victorian Drivers Licence and full Covid 19 and Influenza vaccination certificate are necessary.

n

Must be comfortable entering mortuaries, nursing homes and private homes to transfer deceased persons.

n

Safe driving skills are essential.

n

Valuable physical capabilities are necessary as there is manual handling required.

n

Well presented at all times.

n

Tasks & responsibilities

n

The careful and respectful transfer of deceased persons from their location to their chosen funeral parlour.

n

Compassionate and empathetic interaction with deceased family when they are present.

n





The accurate completion of paperwork required by the funeral parlours.

n

Maintain the cleanliness of Company Vehicles.

n

Respectful and safe driving at all times.

n

Good time management

n

Respectful interactions with other team members.

n

Working with like minded compassionate people, in a caring industry.

n

Good salary and conditions.

n

Full Time available after a probationary period to the right applicant.
