Job Description
Technical Business Analyst – Data Centre Consolidation program
n
Initial 6 months - Daily rate contract
n
Sydney or Melbourne
n
We are partnering with a leading enterprise organisation embarking on a major infrastructure transformation program and is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their high-performing technology team.
n
This is an initial 6-month contract chance, with the successful candidate supporting the discovery phase of a large-scale Data Centre Consolidation initiative expected to run for several years.
n
You'll work across a broad portfolio of enterprise technology projects spanning cloud, identity, digital workplace, and core infrastructure, partnering with senior stakeholders to define requirements and shape the future-state technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Lead discovery activities for a complex Data Centre Consolidation program.
n
- Facilitate workshops and engage with infrastructure, security, architecture, and operations teams.
n
- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
n
- Produce high-quality artefacts including process maps, current and future-state assessments, and business requirements documents.
n
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across multiple infrastructure workstreams.
n
- Support program planning, governance activities, and stakeholder communications.
n
- Work closely with Program Managers, Architects, Engineers, and third-party vendors to drive successful outcomes.
n

About You:
n
n
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within large, complex enterprise environments.
n
- Previous experience delivering infrastructure-focused programs involving Data Centre Consolidation, cloud migrations, identity transformations, or digital workplace initiatives.
n
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including cloud platforms, Active Directory, networking, storage, virtual desktop technologies, and identity & access management.
n
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
n
- Comfortable operating in environments with multiple concurrent initiatives and senior stakeholder groups.
n
- Experience within Financial Services, Federal Government, or other highly regulated industries will be highly regarded.
n
