We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Overhead Crane Operator to join a leading steel manufacturing company.

n

Day Shift $38.01

n

Afternoon Shift $43.71

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operate overhead (bridge/gantry) cranes safely and efficiently.
n
- Load, unload, and transport steel products, bundles, and materials.
n
- Assist with production, warehouse, and dispatch activities.
n
- Conduct pre-start checks and routine equipment inspections.
n
- Read and interpret production schedules and work orders.
n
- Ensure accurate handling and storage of steel products.
n
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to meet daily targets.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
n
- Follow all WHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Previous experience operating overhead cranes in a manufacturing or steel environment.
n
- Forklift (LF) Licence is advantageous.
n




- Experience handling long, heavy, or oversized steel products.
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
n
- Reliable with a solid work ethic and excellent attendance.
n
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
n
