Are you an experienced Operations Manager looking for a new challenge in the transport and logistics industry? We are seeking a dynamic, hands on Operations Manager for our Truganina depot to oversee the day to day operations of our interstate transport and freight business. You'll be responsible for managing a wide range of operations, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of freight, while leading a dedicated team in a fast-paced and competitive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage superior service delivery to clients
n
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight to ensure all collections and deliveries are completed on time
n
- Coordinate branch operations, including managing labour and vehicle resources to achieve both local and interstate delivery objectives
n
- Supervise operations personnel, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures
n
- Plan, manage, and review fleet repairs and maintenance
n
- Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
n




- Ensure compliance with company policies and Work Health and Safety standards
n
- Manage operational costs in collaboration with the State Manager
n
- Oversee site security and the management of property and plant
n

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Proven leadership and management experience
n
- Strong organisational and planning skills
n
- The ability to effectively liaise with teams across sales, administration, and operations
n
- A focus on customer service
n
- Previous experience in a logistics setting, ideally within the transport industry
