Consolidated Linen Service (CLS) is a leading commercial laundry group with operations located along the Queensland coast. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Driver – Service Manager to join our team at the Mackay Depot.

We're looking for a professional, reliable, customer-focused Truck Driver – Service Manager to join our growing team. If you enjoy being on the road, take pride in providing excellent customer service, and want to work for a company that values its people and customers, you should work for CLS!

As the face of our business across Mackay and surrounds, you'll be responsible for delivering and collecting linen products while building strong relationships with our customers.

About the Role

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Delivering and collecting linen to customer sites around Mackay. Usually Monday to Friday.
n
- Providing outstanding customer service not just for deliveries and collections, but all matters relating to our service.
n
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and electronic records.
n
- Managing delivery schedules and completing runs on time.
n
- Identifying customer needs and communicating opportunities or issues to the operations team.
n
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining a clean, roadworthy vehicle.
n
- Adhering to all workplace health and safety policies and road regulations.
n

About You

n





To be successful in this role, you'll have:

n

n
- A current Australian Driver Licence
n
- A current MR/HR Licence.
n
- A safe driving record.
n
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
n
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to regularly lift and move linen carts and bags.
n
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
n
- The ability to work independently while working collaboratively with your team
n
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
n
- Previous experience in delivery driving, logistics, courier services or customer service is great but not mandatory. You only need a work ethic and positive attitude.
n
- Experience using handheld scanners or mobile delivery applications.
n
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
n
