Synergie Australia is seeking a Project Engineer for a trusted client located in Laverton North.
n
Important parts:
n
n
- Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating roster between 8:00am–6:00pm | 38 hrs per week
n
n
What you will be required to do:
n
This role delivers safe, compliant capital projects from concept to completion, coordinating design, contractors, budgets, and reliability outcomes.
n
n
- Lead end-to-end CAPEX project planning, design, tendering, and execution
n
- Coordinate and supervise contractors to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets
n
- Ensure compliance with process safety, MOC, regulatory, and engineering standards
n
- Review and validate designs, installations, and technical documentation
n
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and project performance trends
n
- Embed reliability, RCM, and continuous improvement principles into project delivery
n
n
To be successful in the role you will:
n
n
- Degree-qualified Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with 5+ years' experience delivering projects in manufacturing or process-driven environments
n
- Strong knowledge of process safety, risk management, MOC, and Australian/Victorian plant regulations
n
- Proven capability in contractor, site safety, and construction management, including tendering and procurement
n
- Solid technical grounding in plant design, heat and mass transfer, reliability engineering, RCA and FMEA
n
- Proficient in project management tools and documentation, with strong written and verbal communication skills
n
n
