Eastern Suburbs Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Centre is seeking a skilled and compassionate Female Physiotherapist to join our team on a part-time basis. Based in Nunawading, VIC, this role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality physiotherapy services to a diverse range of patients, from sports injury management to rehabilitation and general musculoskeletal care. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. This position allows you to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance through flexible, part-time arrangements.

Key responsibilities

n

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals

n

Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy treatments including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional rehabilitation

n

Provide education and advice to patients regarding injury prevention, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications

n

Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to optimise outcomes

n

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with professional and legal standards

n

Communicate effectively with referring practitioners and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

n

Support the delivery of injury management services

n

Contribute to a professional and collaborative team environment,



supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards of service

What we're looking for

n

Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution

n

Current registration with Physiotherapy Board of Australia (PBA) and preferably membership with APA (Australian Physiotherapy Association) or equivalent professional body

n

Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in physiotherapy practice, ideally including sports injuries or musculoskeletal rehabilitation

n

Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills with a solid understanding of evidence-based practice

n

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a busy clinical environment

n

Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one

n

Current Victorian Driver's license and own transport

n

Working With Children Check (WWCC) if working with paediatric patients

n

Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage through the organisation

n

Preferred experience in sports injury assessment, taping techniques, or rehabilitation following common sporting injuries
