About the Company:

Our client is a national food and beverage manufacturer of globally renowned brands. With sites based across Australia, their Brisbane site is seeking aMicrobiologist for afull-time casual role with animmediate start! This role is on-going with the possibility of permanent.

About the Role:

n

n
- Collecting samples of raw materials, in-process and finished products
n
- Performing routine chemical and microbiological analyses in a high-volume laboratory
n
- Performing environmental monitoring and testing
n
- Operating, calibrating, maintaining and cleaning of laboratory equipment
n




- Liaising with internal stakeholders in manufacturing and quality assurance team providing feedback in the daily meeting
n
- Monitoring and reporting on results of laboratory tests
n
- Maintaining a safe working workplace
n
- Working within recognised quality frameworks
n

n

Skills & Experience:

n

n
- Degree level qualifications in Microbiology (or equivalent) PLUS relevant experience in a food manufacturing laboratory;
n
- Excellent microbiological skills
n
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP is advantageous;
n
- Ability to accurately monitor and report on results of laboratory tests;
n
- Ability to lift up to 10kgs;
n
