Civil Construction Operator / All Rounder

Earthtech Excavations is a family-owned civil construction company with a strong reputation for delivering quality infrastructure, excavation and concrete reinstatement works across Melbourne.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Operator / All Rounder to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a variety of work and is equally comfortable operating machinery, driving trucks and assisting with civil construction, and concrete works.

About the Role

n

n
- Safely operating excavators, skid steer loaders (bobcats) and tipper trucks.
n
- General civil construction and labouring duties.
n
- Excavation, trenching, backfilling and site preparation.
n
- Operating small plant and equipment, including plate compactors, jackhammers, concrete saws, cut-off saws and other power tools.
n
- Loading, transporting and unloading plant, materials and equipment.
n
- Completing daily pre-start inspections and reporting any equipment issues.
n
- Maintaining a safe, clean and productive work environment.
n
- Working collaboratively with supervisors and team members to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

- Demonstrated experience operating excavators.
n
- Experience operating small plant and equipment.
n
- Construction White Card.
n
- Strong understanding of OH&S;/WHS requirements.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Reliable, punctual and committed to quality workmanship.
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Truck-mounted crane (HIAB) experience.
n




- Traffic Management tickets.
n
- Concrete experience (highly regarded).
n
- Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets.
n
- First Aid Certificate.
n
- Additional plant operator tickets and licences.
n
