The Cleaner is a vital role within VanHomes, responsible for maintaining a clean, secure, and organised workplace across the manufacturing and office facility. This role ensures hygiene standards are met, supports operational efficiency, and contributes to a positive environment for staff and visitors. By performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to safety protocols, the Cleaner upholds VanHomes' reputation as Australia's leading relocatable home manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitise work areas, including offices, production floors, and common areas
n
- Empty bins and dispose off waste according to facility guidelines
n
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a dust-free environment
n
- Clean machinery and equipment surfaces as directed
n




- Restock cleaning supplies and report low stock levels
n
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols to prevent hazards
n
- Report maintenance issues or damage to facility management
n
- Execute ad-hoc cleaning tasks as needed to support facility operations
n

Selection Criteria

n

n
- 1+ years' experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance
n
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and chemical handling
n
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
n

n

Certificate in Cleaning Operations or equivalent

n

Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
