Reporting to the Design Operations Lead, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Based in our stylish Robina office, you will play an integral role in supporting the development, management and evolution of our product range
n
- You will work closely with Product Designers and cross-functional teams, contributing to both new and existing designs, bringing concepts to life through thoughtful documentation and detail
n
- Assist in the development and documentation of home designs across the product range
n
- Prepare accurate and well-resolved design documentation aligned with briefs and delivery programs
n
- Contribute to floorplans, facades, site plans, internal layouts, and design options
n
- Support product management activities across both current and new designs
n




- Work collaboratively across teams to deliver outcomes within project timeframes
n
- Develop a strong understanding of the Metricon product suite and design principles; and
n
- Stay across relevant building codes, standards, and approval processes.
n

The successful candidate will have:

n

n
- A genuine passion for residential design and creating better living environments
n
- A relevant qualification in Building Design, Drafting, or similar
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a design or drafting role
n
- Experience in volume residential building (highly regarded)
n
- Robust capability in Revit (or similar CAD software)
n
- Solid understanding of building codes and planning requirements
n
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills; and
n
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
