About the role
n
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to lead The Royal Melbourne Hospital's Community Care Unit (20 beds) and Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) service (10 beds).
n
As Program Manager, you will provide operational, clinical and strategic leadership across both services, partnering with Lead Consultant Psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health care.
n
You will play a key role in driving service excellence, developing high-performing teams, and shaping the future of RMH's sub-acute mental health services.
n
Key Accountabilities
n
Provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across the Community Care Unit (CCU) and Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) services.
n
Lead and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of recovery-oriented, person-centred care, accountability and continuous improvement.
n
Drive clinical governance, quality, safety and service performance to achieve organisational objectives and deliver exceptional consumer outcomes.
n
Oversee workforce planning, financial management,
resource allocation and operational performance to ensure sustainable and efficient service delivery.
n
Build and maintain strong partnerships with Lead Consultant Psychiatrists, consumers, carers and internal and external stakeholders to strengthen integrated care.
n
Contribute to the strategic direction, innovation and ongoing development of RMH's Mental Health Services through service planning, improvement initiatives and change leadership.
n
About You
n
You are an experienced mental health leader who is passionate about recovery-oriented care, developing high-performing teams, and leading service excellence.
n
You will bring:
n
Registration as a Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Social Worker.
n
Demonstrated leadership experience within a public mental health service.
n
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving positive consumer outcomes.
n
Strong strategic, operational and financial management capability.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
