Job Description
$40 p/h + super | Contract until end of year | Sydney CBD (Full-time, office based)

Join a busy Tribunal registry team providing essential administrative and client support services. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‐paced, detail‐driven environment and enjoys being the first point of contact for clients navigating the hearing process.

What you'll be doing
n
n
- Providing information to clients face to face, by phone or in writing, recording action taken and following up where required
n
- Preparing matters for hearing - organising papers for tribunal members, notifying parties, arranging reporting services, interpreters, country venues and travel for members, and making arrangements for clients with special needs
n
- Providing a range of administrative and clerical support, including fax, post, photocopying, and the compilation and distribution of documents
n
- Preparing routine correspondence, ensuring all documentation conforms to Tribunal presentation, style, format and content protocols
n
- Inputting data into the Tribunal's case management system, and creating, storing, retrieving and archiving Tribunal files in line with required data and information standards
n
- Seeking guidance from, and escalating more complex matters to, the Senior Registry Officer/Team Leader as appropriate
n

- Solid administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a high‐volume environment
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, client‐focused approach
n
- High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly around documentation, data entry and file management
n
- Comfortable working with case management systems and standard office software
n
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to elevate to more senior team members
