Job Description
Associate Director / Town Planning Manager
n

Underpinned by an ambitious growth strategy, Willowtree Planning is looking to appoint an Associate Director in our North Sydney office.
n
If you want to join the A-Team, here is what we need:

n

- You have a qualification in town planning or related discipline, with approx. 10-15 years' experience;
n
- REAP qualified or nearing 10 years' experience working on major projects;
n
- You thrive on project managing complex planning projects and co-ordinate various sub-consultants;
n
- You have experience in providing planning due diligence advice and planning approvals pathway advice and strategies;
n
- You have a strong understanding of current NSW Planning legislation and recent changes to legislation;
n
- You have Experience in the preparation of Statements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements and Planning Proposal documents;
n
- Attention to detail and proven ability to write high quality and concise advice, reports and submissions.

Your Responsibilities
n
n
- Independently manage and prepare large-scale development applications and planning proposals, namely design competitions and state significant development projects;
n
- Maintain research of industry and regulatory technical developments;
n
- Provide productive and effective consulting services;
n
- Independent attendance at meetings as required including inception meetings, client meetings, council and panel meetings;
n
- Securing new business opportunities;
n
- Work closely with the executive and senior management team in the implementation of the Business's systems, processes, procedures, Quality Assurance practices and project methodologies;
n
- Ensure budget targets are achieve and maintained, including your direct reports;
n
- Mentor and manage technical staff.
