The Role

n

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work closely with our architects, construction managers, and external contractors to turn design concepts into comprehensive, accurate construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Preparing preliminary sketches, detailed working drawings, and project specifications from initial concepts.
n
- Interpreting architectural plans, building regulations, and statutory codes of practice to ensure full compliance.
n
- Preparing, editing, and systematically revising plans, maps, charts, and construction drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
n
- Assisting construction managers, architects, and surveyors in project planning,



site organisation, and timeline management.
n
- Coordinating work programs and liaising with builders and external contractors to ensure design accuracy.
n
- Inspecting work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations, and industry standards.

Skills and Experience Required

n

n
- Qualifications: An AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or a related field (ANZSCO Skill Level 2).
n
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience as an Architectural Draftsperson.
n
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in architectural software such as AutoCAD / Revit / ArchiCAD / SketchUp.
n
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and local Australian building regulations.
n
- Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
