HKS Financial Planning is a boutique financial planning practice specialising in retirement planning, wealth creation, superannuation, personal insurance and lending advice.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Risk Insurance Adviser to establish and lead the insurance advice offering within the business.

n

This is a unique opportunity for an adviser looking to step into a well-established client base while retaining the ability to build and grow their own business within a supportive and highly regarded financial planning firm.

n

Unlike many risk advisory roles, you won't be starting from scratch.

n

You will inherit:

- Approximately 378 existing risk insurance clients
n
- Modern systems and processes
n
- A collaborative team environment focused on delivering outstanding client outcomes

The Prospect

n

As our dedicated Risk Insurance Adviser, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Conducting insurance reviews for existing clients
n
- Developing and implementing personal insurance strategies
n
- Advising on Life, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection insurance
n
- Building strong relationships with existing clients
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes through proactive reviews
n
- Generating referrals and new client opportunities
n
- Growing and maintaining the existing insurance book
n
- Working closely with our financial planners and support team
n
- Maintaining high compliance and professional standards
n

About You

n

You may be an experienced Risk Adviser looking for a stronger platform to grow from, or an Advice Professional seeking the opportunity to take ownership of an established insurance client base.

Ideally you will have:

- Experience providing personal risk insurance advice
n
- A proactive and growth-focused mindset
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- The ability to work autonomously whilst contributing to a team environment
n
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes
n
- Relevant qualifications to provide personal risk advice
n
- Experience using Xplan will be highly regarded.
n

Location & Flexibility

n

This position is based from our Stones Corner office in Brisbane.

n

Our preference is for a full-time adviser, however we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements and part-time hours for the right candidate.
